Presentation Server 4.5 Export/Import Settings

Citrix has added the ability to import and export andentire application and its settings, just the users or servers a given application is published to via the Citrix Access Management Console in Presentation Server 4.5. This is very convenient for backing up and/or restoring these settings. You can import the group membership or server list to other applications to duplicate their setup.

The files that are generated when you do the export have .app, .asl, or .aul file extensions accordingly but they are simply XML files.

  1. Your site is really interesting to me and your topics are very relevant. I was browsing around and came across something you might find interesting. I was guilty of 3 of them with my sites. “99% of site managers are committing these five mistakes”. http://tinyurl.com/7dtdnz9 You will be suprised how fast they are to fix.
